Phil Collins, "In the air tonight" (First Farewell Tour)/Walking Into a Lion's Den

You get a call while you are with friends at a restaurant.  The overall message is daunting and confusing. I am safe, but it does not relay a sense of relief.  The message gives a feeling of uncertainty, anger, and frustration.  It is not my decision, but I am expected to follow the instructions.  Is there a right or wrong?    It feels like “walking into a lion’s den”.  I may be safe today, but what about tomorrow?
